For 200 years people have been finding solutions to keep their drink cold once it’s out the fridge. Kevin knew there had to be a better way for the modern world, without the ice, water or mess.
Working in his Mum’s shed, it took Kevin 7 years and over 300 prototypes before perfecting the design and technology to create Kaelo.
It wasn’t easy, but we think the outcome is worth it. Effortless and charming, but most of all, fun.
It’s a mixture of the Japanese word ‘Kaizen’ meaning “continuous improvement” and “halo”, from the lighting created around a bottle when it’s place in the Kaelo
LET’S DO THIS
“My wife and I squabble over our favourite light setting!”
Every Kaelo is built by hand, by our team in our Cotswolds workshop.
Combining over 150 years’ experience in precision engineering, we craft, calibrate and test each individual Kaelo against strict criteria. The small signature on the side shows that yours passed.
